Tony Short is a Theoretical Physicist focusing on fundamental aspects of quantum theory, using tools and concepts from quantum information theory. He is particularly interested in quantum thermodynamics and equilibration, whether space and time are discrete rather than continuous (and the implications this would have for particle physics), quantum causality, and the many-worlds interpretation of quantum theory.
